Getting your Hospital bag ready!
November 15, 2017
As the days get closer make sure your hospital bag is ready and in the trunk of your car!
I would say a good time to do that would be around or after the 32-week mark.
Although hospitals today provide pretty much with everything, it’s always good to be safe in case they don’t!
Here’s a list of essentials that made this part of the birth process totally stress-free ^_^
For Mama:
1. Pillow, ( sometimes you just need your own)
2. Your own gown/bathrobe
3. Pads (tampons won’t do)
4. Makeup and toiletries ( makes you feel so much better)
5. Nursing pads
6. Gel nipple pads
7. Lanolin
8. Lip balm + lotion
9. Nursing bra
10. Going home outfit
11. Hair bands
12. Flip flops
For the Baby:
1. Receiving blanket
2. Going home outfit and accessories
3. Nursing pillow
For the Spouse/Companion:
1. Snacks
2. Magazine
3. Blankets
For the Experience:
1. Cellphone and chargers
2. Camera and charger!
3. Folder for all the paperwork
4. All your IDs and docs for the hospital including insurance
These are just some of the things that helped lower my ever inflating panicky mind and helped me focus on the last few weeks of my pregnancy.
Hope each of your experience is wonderful and beautiful for you and your family.
Lots of love and hugs mamas!
