Hi Everyone!

I’m back with a quick little post. It’s something I had always wanted to create and something that ignited my newborn and kids shopping addiction, ahem I mean habit, ahem I mean activity! You get the idea!

So one of the mama’s in my mommy groups is expecting a baby girl! That sparked a conversation on what newborn items she should buy and from where. Where to make registries since we’re in a post Babies’r’us stores world. More importantly, she wanted something she can refer to when she is out and about doing her shopping.

Now y’all know I looove kids related products. I mean after all, I go to Mommy conventions (Hello MommyCon!) and I love reviewing and testing all kinds of newborn and kids products. Sure I order the products for my kid and not myself. Of course I don’t do that. It’s appalling that anyone would even think that Wink. I just got a new diaper bag that I use for outdoor chores but so what. I call myself a collector (27 diaper bags, Ju-Ju-Be of course (check my review here!!) and no, there are no diapers in any bag), absolute stroller addict and a toy connoisseur (interesting term huh 🙂 ). My husband calls me a hoarder but we can ignore him😂

The Checklist

Anyhow, back to the topic, I made a quick checklist that mommies or daddies can use when building up their registries or making purchases for their newborn. It’s pretty simple and to the point on what the absolute essentials are.

I’ve been keeping up with a lot of the new newborn and kids brands. So let me know if y’all want brand or specific product recommendations. I can definitely make a separate post  with details on just that.
